Optional Pre-camp Introductions to WordPress
The optional Pre-camps take place Thursday, June 16, 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Carleton University. Rooms will be announced soon. If you wish to attend both a Pre-camp and WordCamp Ottawa, simply purchase one of each ticket.
Note: Parking is not included in the ticket price.
Introduction to WordPress for Users
Introduction to WordPress for Users is for you if you’re a beginner who wants to learn some of the main WordPress concepts and terms before the weekend sessions. There are no prerequisites for this session.
Introduction to WordPress for Developers
Introduction to WordPress Developer is for you if you’re a beginning developer (or a developer with no WordPress experience) who wants to learn some of the main WordPress developer concepts and terms before the weekend sessions. Attendees should be aware of HTML, CSS, and PHP to get the most from this session.
WordCamp Ottawa 2016
WordCamp Ottawa 2016 takes place on Saturday, June 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 19, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Carleton University.
The $40 ticket entitles you to attend the sessions, enjoy the food offered at the event and pick up your WordCamp swag. It does not include the optional pre-camps nor parking.
Payment
Payment is through PayPal only, in Canadian Dollars. You can use credit cards with PayPal without having an account with PayPal.
Please note that we can not offer refunds after June 5th, 2016. If you find after purchasing your ticket that you won’t be able to attend after all, you can give your ticket to someone else, offer it on Twitter using the #wcott hashtag, or simply consider the expense a donation to the WordPress Foundation. You can change the registered name on the ticket using the links sent in your confirmation email from the registration system.
